Benefits of Publishing in an Article Collection
An Article Collection is an opportunity for your research to reach the right audience. Bringing together the work of the global research community, Collections provide readers with a central place to find the latest research on emerging and important topics. They have been found to increase the discoverability and visibility of each article, as well as article-level citations.
Real-World Impact of Healthcare Risk Management Policies and Interventions
Healthcare risk management policies and organisational interventions are intended to improve safety, quality and performance. Yet their value depends on what happens when they are implemented in everyday healthcare settings, where organisational structures, resources, workforce conditions and competing priorities shape outcomes. Real-world evaluations are therefore essential to understanding their actual effects on patient and staff safety, healthcare service quality, operational efficiency and costs, and whether they create unintended consequences.
To shine a spotlight on this important area of research, and to help bridge the gap between policy intentions and outcomes in practice, Risk Management and Healthcare Policy is pleased to have launched a new Article Collection focused on the Real-world Impact of Healthcare Risk Management Policies and Interventions.
The Collection, led by Editor-In-Chief Dr Gulsum Kubra Kaya, will be included in Taylor & Francis’ Real-World Evidence Series. Papers published within the series will benefit from additional promotional activities across Taylor and Francis, increasing the discoverability and visibility of your research.
The Collection is open to receive submissions of Original Research, Reviews and Commentaries, with a particular interest in the following areas:
- Real-world evaluations of healthcare risk management policies and interventions.
- Measurable impacts of healthcare risk management policies and interventions on patient and staff safety, service quality, operational efficiency and costs.
- Organisational and system-level factors influencing the implementation and effectiveness of risk management policies and interventions.
- Empirical evidence of what has worked, what has not, and lessons learned from implementation in practice.
Submitting authors are eligible for a discount on the Article Publishing charge by reaching out to the Commissioning Editor Haoyang Yi (haoyang.yi@taylorandfrancis.com) If eligible, the discount code must be applied at the point of submission. The deadline for submissions is the 1st of January 2028.
