Benefits of Publishing in an Article Collection

AI Driven Proactive Health Care Education and Disease Prevention

Learning proactively about health care and disease prevention through AI technology is a revolution in how people and societies interact with their health. AI technologies allow people to maintain their health, detect problems, and reduce the risk of developing diseases. Using large volumes of data gathered from electronic health records, wearable devices, genetics, and behaviour, AI technologies could be used to detect risk factors and predict future health issues, providing proactive educational information.

Individuals can receive personalized materials about nutrition, physical exercise, vaccination, and
maintaining good health and staying motivated through adaptive learning. AI could also contribute to public health issues by monitoring disease outbreaks, focusing health education programs on specified groups, and providing timely information. Predictive analytics and machine learning could help make educational material clear, sensitive, and up to date, considering recent developments in medicine and society's needs. The use of AI can address inequality in healthcare education by translating complicated material into easy-to-read content, educating multicultural communities, and ensuring equitable healthcare services. By shifting the focus from treatment to education and prevention, it becomes possible to benefit both individuals and our health care system. Implementing AI can lead to longevity and increased quality of life, as well as improved society's ability to face new health issues.

The use of AI in the field of health care education and disease prevention is an important application being explored within public health. This collection welcomes scholarly submissions, including research, reviews, and case studies, on the use of AI-enabled technology to contribute to the future of disease prevention through education, early detection, risk assessment, and community engagement. Relevant subtopics include disease surveillance using machine learning; ethical considerations around AI applications in public health; behaviour change communications enabled by AI; and digital health equity.
